Ways and Means Information
Providing support for an organization the size of the Lassiter Band is no simple task. The program includes marching band, 4 concert bands, color guard and winter guard with over 250 students participating year round, but it draws little financial support from the school or the county.
If each parent were asked to pay an annual fee, many students would not have the opportunity to participate. To help offset the expense of providing the best possible educational opportunities, the LBBA sponsors a variety of fund raising activities throughout the year. The Ways & Means Committee is charged with coordinating these activities. Your participation, even if not serving as an event chair, is crucial for the various activities throughout the year.
Getting involved from the start is your best opportunity to meet other parents, learn about the program, and experience the excellence of the Lassiter Band.

Student Directory Advertising
The Lassiter Band Directory is the vital communication tool used by both parents and students of our 250+ member band for the entire school year, and often beyond. In the directory, we offer a unique opportunity for band families to promote their own businesses with a limited number of advertising spaces. If you would like to place an ad in the directory, please download the form below. Please submit your ad by Friday July 16 as directories will be distributed at the end of Band Camp. A new payment plan has been released for 2010-2011 Freshman for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Trip to New York.

The 2010-2011 Band Camp Web Pages have been activated. This page will provide you with just the Band Camp Registration forms rigth now, but please visit often during the Summer as information becomes available the page will be updated. Having Trouble Receiving LBBA Emails
The LBBA Co-Presidents normally send out one or two weekly emails to all Active Members and Band Students with important news and updates about the Band and LBBA for that week. Although, Membership has gone to great lengths to get all Active LBBA Members and Students email addresses in our Membership Database correctly we may have missed yours. Your email address may have also been recently changed. If you are not receiving the weekly emails or your email has changed since Registration please send the Membership Committee Mary Berg an email with the correct email address, your Students full name so we can find you in the Membership database and she will be glad to change or add it to the database. We can accommodate a personal email and a work email address now in our database.
If you are not receiving emails and you think we have the correct email address in the database (to view your information check the online Band Directory under Members, you will need Members Access to view the directory) please contact the Webmaster Steve Morton for assistance and some trouble shooting tips.Please include the type of PC/Mac, OS, and email Client you are using. He will be glad to assist you. Also, check your spam / junk email folders as it may be going there.
